In Ponta Delgada

We were unable to take all of our guests to lunch at Mrs. Marília, Mrs. Vânia and Mr. Paulo's homes, so we brought them to the Octant Ponta Delgada.

We visited the Arnel lighthouse, wandered along the cliffs of São Miguel and, in the final chapter, we once again discovered the best cooks on the island.
The ones that everyone in the world praises, and that family members are proud of.

Mrs. Marília, Mrs. Vânia and Mr. Paulo accepted our Chef's invitation, Paulo Leite, so on June 1st they will be here to cook their best dishes for you.

About the COOKS

Mrs. Marília

Her whole life is related to the Lighthouse: daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of lighthouse keepers. Born on the island of Terceira, she is now a speech therapist, but has always coveted the culinary skills of his aunts and grandmothers. On day 1, she brings us desserts from the islands she visited.

Mrs. Vânia

It is in the kitchen that you find your energy and peace. She learned to cook from his grandmother, who was an expert in mackerel and perhaps that's why nowadays what she enjoys most in the kitchen is preparing fish (and there is so much variety on this island).

Mr. Paulo

He started as a baker, today he is a computer scientist and passionate about good snacks. It was from his mother that he learned everything he knows about cooking and gastronomy on the island. He likes to sing Karaoke and it is in his garden and in his aromatic herbs that he finds tranquility.
